Job Description

Meridian Business Support Limited is currently recruiting for a Full-time Head Chef to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and ensure the delivery of exceptional food quality and service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small team of chefs to ensure the smooth running of food production areas within the kitchen.
  • Oversee the preparation and service of high-quality food, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food production plans to meet client requirements and maximize revenue.
  • Manage stock purchasing, storage, and inventory control to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Ensure effective communication with the kitchen team, other departments, and clients to maintain a positive and efficient working environment.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and company standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Culinary Manager in a similar industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Full clean driving license.
