Childcare Solicitor Opportunity

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join our award-winning team in the Northwest. Our team specializes in Childcare law matters and is well-respected in the industry.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Childcare Solicitor with at least two years of experience in handling complex cases concerning children. The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling cases involving Female Genital Mutilation, International Relocation, Child Abduction, Forced Marriage, and other serious allegations.

The successful candidate will handle their own caseload of childcare-related cases, providing advice on all aspects and stages of the childcare proceedings, including wardship, parental responsibility orders, contact orders, and orders for interim care and supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of childcare-related cases
  • Provide advice on all aspects and stages of the childcare proceedings
  • Participate in advocacy and provide skilled representation
  • Enlist the assistance of additional specialists as needed
  • Familiarity with PLO's and representation at PLO meetings
  • Experience with Child protection, Section 20 accommodation, and Children's services involvement
Requirements

We are looking for a Childcare Solicitor with:

At least two years of experience in Childcare lawExpertise in handling complex cases concerning childrenAbility to handle their own caseloadParticipation in advocacy and skilled representation

We are keen to discuss this role with solicitors who have experience within Childcare Law, not just those who have The Law Society's Children Law Panel accreditation and/or have a Children's Guardian following.
