Childcare Solicitor Opportunity

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join our award-winning team in the Northwest. Our team specializes in Childcare law matters and is well-respected in the industry.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Childcare Solicitor with at least two years of experience in handling complex cases concerning children. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of childcare-related cases, providing advice on all aspects and stages of the childcare proceedings, and offering skilled representation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle your own caseload of childcare-related cases
  • Provide advice on all aspects and stages of the childcare proceedings
  • Offer skilled representation and, if needed, enlist the assistance of additional specialists in your case
  • Familiarize yourself with matters including PLO's, Representation at PLO meetings with the authorities, Child protection, Section 20 accommodation in foster care, and Children's services involvement and assessments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least two years of prior experience in Childcare law
  • Experience in managing your own caseload and participating in advocacy
  • Strong knowledge of Childcare law and procedures
