About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Project Manager to join our team at G3 Systems. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing sub-contractor accounts, ensuring compliance with G3 Standards, and coordinating MEP procurement and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sub-contractor accounts in accordance with their terms and conditions to meet project demands and timeframes.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor works completed, quality, and management of costs.
  • Attend office and hybrid working sessions, as well as international visits as required.
  • Procure, manage, and coordinate MEP parties to ensure compliance with G3 Standards.
  • Establish MEP procurement and packaging strategies aligned with building fabric elements.
  • Complete MEP procurement programmes integrated into overall project programmes.
  • Develop and issue MEP tender documents, including scopes, interface documents, and design responsibility matrices.
  • Ensure timely issuance and auditing of MEP design to guarantee compliance, build-ability, and commission-ability.
  • Provide technical advice to the Design Manager to produce, agree, and manage design programmes and information required schedules.
  • Identify, manage, and contain risks inherent in the procurement strategy.
  • Complete risk schedules relative to outstanding design issues and sub-contractor non-compliance.
  • Conduct financial assessments and technical analyses of sub-contractor tender submissions.
Requirements
  • HND or degree-level education in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction contracts, particularly NEC3/4.
  • Member of a Professional Body, progressing to Chartered status.
  • Sound negotiation skills, with experience of confirming, agreeing, and pricing variations.
