GB001 Marsh Ltd is a leading insurance company seeking a skilled Claims Account Handler to join our Delegated Authority Claims team in Norwich.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Account Handler to support our Delegated Authority Claims team in managing and administering our Coverholder's losses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Coverholders/DCA's to ensure oversight of all Claims matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory and Lloyd's updates and changes affecting the Delegated Authority market.
  • Handle and case manage claims and contribute to the satisfactory resolution of complex and/or contentious issues.
  • Monitor payments on a daily basis and liaise with the Accounts Department as required.
  • Use ECF, CLASS & IMR to handle large volumes of Bordereau work, Urgent Cash Call Collections & Account Reconciliations.
  • Meet agreed standards of accuracy, service, work volumes, and other performance targets in line with bespoke Client SLA's.
  • Maintain good client and market relationships.

Requirements

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of Delegated Authorities, with either an Insurer or Broker.
  • Previous claims handling/insurance experience, with either with an Insurer or Broker.
  • CII qualifications or a willingness to study for and obtain.
  • A genuine keenness to build a career within the insurance industry.
