ABOUT YOU

RCG Moody International Limited, in collaboration with Intertek, is seeking a Mobile Hygiene Sampling Specialist to support various aspects of Mobile Hygiene Sampling and related administrative tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include performing visual inspections and temperature assessments, collecting food and water samples, and taking swabs from client locations across the UK, adhering to established timelines, and delivering samples to designated laboratories or other locations as necessary.

You will play a crucial role in assisting the Customer Services and Transport Team in implementing the Intertek 5X5 and 10X policies, fostering a culture centered on ethical values and team development within the organization.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • A valid, clean driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Email, etc.)
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the UK
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field or similar position
  • Knowledge of food hygiene is advantageous
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Key Responsibilities:
  • This is a mobile position, requiring travel to client sites throughout the UK and Northern Ireland to fulfill compliance obligations.
  • Coordinating store audits and sample collection from client locations according to predetermined schedules and sampling plans; ensuring timely delivery of samples to Intertek laboratories or other designated locations.
  • Registering samples in a web-based application.
  • Completing a Level 2 Food Hygiene certification.
  • Ensuring the completion of weekly and monthly reports.
  • Participating in customer review meetings.
  • Being part of a small, expanding team of Hygiene Specialists.
  • Ensuring efficient sampling processes to maximize revenue while minimizing costs.
  • Overseeing Quality Management Systems and adhering to accreditation standards.
  • Continuously meeting Health & Safety regulations.
