About the Role

NFU Mutual is seeking an experienced Lead Business Architect to join our Strategy department. As a key member of our Business Architecture team, you will play a critical role in aligning the organisation to the effective delivery of strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional business architecture and design authority services to business areas, change programmes, and across the organisation and portfolio.
  • Shape, prioritise, and govern change initiatives needed for the delivery of company and divisional strategies.
  • Work closely with Divisions and HR to define and align Target Operating Models (TOMs).
  • Lead and shape critical strategic change elements by supporting the delivery of early thinking, to help understand overall target state implications and drive out clarity on optimum scope and sequencing.
About You

We are looking for a strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. You will demonstrate a consultancy style approach to your work and interactions, and be comfortable with ambiguity. You will also have the ability to translate and present technical information to a non-technical audience.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience of:

  • Demonstrable Business Architecture deliverables in a large complex environment.
  • Business transformation and business change life cycle leadership.
  • Developing and working with capability models, operating models, organisational design, or process re-engineering.
  • Cross divisional or departmental roadmap development.
  • Developing, implementing, and integrating frameworks to capture and share structured thinking, options, and recommendations.
