Property Law Specialist - The Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to possess in-depth knowledge of the technical aspects required to deliver a thorough and customer-oriented conveyancing service, adhering to our accredited quality standards including ISO 9001 and CQS accreditation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete conveyancing process from initiation to completion, including post-completion tasks.
- Review legal titles for all freehold transactions and address all related aspects.
- Examine legal titles for leasehold transactions and manage all relevant components.
- Take ownership and accountability for case files.
- Draft technical correspondence competently.
- Meet financial billing targets.
- Provide estimates for prospective clients.
- Address miscellaneous inquiries.
Property Law Specialist - What We Require from You
Given the nature of this role, prior experience in conveyancing is a REQUIREMENT, with the capability to start immediately.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional client service skills and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience = 5+ PQE.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload of Commercial and Residential Property files.
- Essential to handle your own caseload.
- Experience in Buying and Selling Freehold and Leasehold properties.
- Knowledge of Lease Extensions and Transfer of Equity.
- Proficient in managing post-completion procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally at all levels.
- Familiarity with case management systems and The Land Registry portal.
