Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Remote (with occasional office-based work)

Salary: Up to £95,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits

Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our In-House legal team. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert legal support across a diverse range of commercial agreements and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Agreements: Review, negotiate, and draft a broad range of commercial contracts, with a focus on IT/Tech, supply, and distribution agreements.
  • Data Protection & Compliance: Provide legal advice and ensure compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR, and oversee related compliance activities.
  • Financial Services Regulation: Support the business in navigating financial services regulations, ensuring that all activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments across the business, offering legal guidance and ensuring that all contracts and agreements align with the company's objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations, ensuring that the company's legal interests are protected.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: UK qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE, ideally with an In-House background.
  • Expertise: Expertise in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting a wide range of commercial agreements, ideally having handled IT/Tech and Supply & Distribution contracts.
  • Knowledge: Proven knowledge of data protection laws and compliance requirements.
  • Experience: Experience within the financial services or Insurance sector would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organisation: Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to tight deadlines.
