Biomedical Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Scientist to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As an Immunology Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a range of technical, scientific, and professional duties to achieve the objectives of efficient and effective patient care.
The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Autoantibody and allergy analysis, Laboratory Health & Safety, and instrumentation and quality systems. They will also have experience in aspects of Immunology, HCPC registered, and a strong understanding of quality assurance procedures in accordance with UKAS ISO 15189 standards.
The post holder will be responsible for collaborating closely with the Biomedical Scientist Team Lead to observe and implement policies and procedures relevant to the role. They will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with good laboratory practice and participating in internal and external quality assurance programmes.

- Maintaining compliance with good laboratory practice and participating in internal and external quality assurance programmes.
- HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist.
