Multi Skilled Automation Engineer

Your RoleAs a Multi Skilled Automation Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse systems. Your responsibilities will encompass both proactive and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns, enhancing plant reliability and reducing operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to identify and implement solutions for technical challenges, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work in a dynamic environment that may involve periods working in a cold storage area (approximately -18 degrees Celsius), equipped with full personal protective equipment (PPE) including coats, hats, and boots.
- Perform tasks at heights using safety harnesses, adhering to strict safety protocols.
We seek individuals who possess a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, combined with a passion for automation and problem-solving.
- Hold a recognized qualification such as an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in mechanics, electrical engineering, and control engineering principles.
- Possess a deep understanding of automation systems and technologies, including PLC programming and industrial networks.
- Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.
