Job Title: Multi Skilled Automation Engineer

Lineage Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Automation Engineer to join our team in Heywood. As a key member of our technical department, you will be responsible for the proactive and reactive maintenance of our warehouse systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve breakdowns and improve plant reliability
  • Support the maintenance and wider team in solving problems to keep our facility moving
  • Work in a cold environment, approximately minus 18 degrees, with full PPE provided
  • Work at height using safety harness
Requirements:
  • Qualified NVQ level 3 or equivalent with mechanical and electrical experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in mechanics, electrical engineering, and control engineering
  • Knowledge of and experience with PLC and PC controlled fully automatic logistic transport systems
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to learn and improve skills
  • Ability to drive and travel to site
  • Ability to work at height and in a cold environment
