**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Export Customs Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our export customs team, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily operations of the team are conducted in an efficient and effective manner while adhering to, and complying with, company and external authority customs requirements and legislation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Proactively supervise the export customs team effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the export department in the absence of the Export Customs Manager
  • Continually reviewing processes to strive for efficiencies without compromising the service level and/or quality of work administered
  • To give the team of export declarants focus and allocate daily tasks where necessary
  • To produce, analyze and manage identified Key Performance Indicators for the customs activities and ensure that targets are met
  • Liaising with export supervisors from other shifts to ensure a frictionless handover and effective completion of the overall workload
  • Direct liaison with the Export Customs Manager
  • Direct liaison with Head Office Kempten with regard to various customs matters when necessary
  • Promote the Dachser values in the team work ethic
  • Ensure the Dachser Health and Safety policy, processes, procedures and other mandatory processes such as BRC & ISO9001 are maintained, reviewed and effectively managed
  • Working knowledge of and familiarity with UK CDS system and proprietary software systems
  • Familiar with Microsoft Outlook programs and ASM Sequoia
