About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team at Connected Places Catapult. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a communications strategy to raise awareness of our work and engage stakeholders across our five work programmes: Net Zero Neighbourhoods, National Net Zero Project Pipeline, Investible Cities, Regional Investor Events, and Local and Regional Investment Innovations.
  • Manage and deliver digital campaigns to drive engagement and growth, including social media, email marketing, and content creation.
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver communications activities to support our business objectives, including PR, trade shows, and events.
  • Coordinate and manage the 3Ci partners marketing and events group.
  • Develop and oversee the marketing of collateral, including the 3Ci newsletter, reports, and bulletins.
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure effective budget planning and management.
  • Ensure an ethos of equity, inclusivity, and diversity underpin your work activity, contributing to inclusive innovation across all Catapult activities.
Requirements
  • Creative thinker with strong implementation and tactical marcoms skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Exceptional writing skills with proven ability to translate complex information and concepts into clear and digestible content.
  • Strong ability to run Social Media campaigns to drive engagement and growth.
  • Content and communication planning and management.
  • Basic digital content creation experience.
  • Experience managing and delivering digital campaigns.
  • Budget planning & Management.
  • Experience in running and managing events, workshops, and conferences.
  • Excellent team player, able to engage and work constructively across the business and with external partners.
