About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Sauce Cook at our Selby site. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for mixing ingredients and raw materials in commercial kettles to create our high-quality sauces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mixing ingredients and raw materials in commercial kettles to create our sauces
  • Following recipes and specifications to ensure consistency across batches
  • Efficiently carrying out assigned operations or tasks to meet output targets
  • Contributing to improved line performance and efficiencies
  • Maintaining excellent Housekeeping, Health & Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene standards
  • Resolving running problems/issues
  • Handling food ingredients
  • Participating in training and mentoring of new staff
  • Identifying opportunities to continuously improve the production/process
Requirements
  • Experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment
  • Compliance with all relevant business and site policies, including Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
  • Demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork with the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment producing quality and safe products
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
