Project Engineer - Building Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in a Building Projects role. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing energy efficiency projects, sourcing and securing contractors, and building project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the management of energy efficiency projects, including assigning, scheduling, and communicating job expectations.
  • Sourcing and securing Mechanical and Electrical contractors to best utilize project resources.
  • Building project schedules, contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans, and preparing and completing action plans.
  • Representing the project to clients and contractors, and liaising with relevant parties regarding project development.
  • Managing the project site in line with regulatory obligations and ensuring general contractor roles and responsibilities are complied with.
  • Championing continuous improvements for the project and reporting to management and key stakeholders on project performance.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience working on-site in an industrial manufacturing/MEP project environment.
  • Experience of managing mechanical and electrical contractors, including supervisory works on site, issuing permits, prioritizing/decision making.
  • Understanding of thermal systems, mechanical systems/structures, and electrical systems.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office.
  • Relevant certification for managing construction works in the project location.
  • Understanding of Project EHS requirements and contributing to construction phase planning.
