Job Title: Building Projects Engineer

CV Library is seeking a highly skilled Building Projects Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing energy efficiency projects, sourcing and securing contractors, and building project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the management of energy efficiency projects, including assigning, scheduling, and communicating job expectations.
  • Source and secure Mechanical and Electrical contractors to best utilize project resources.
  • Build project schedules, contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Represent the project to clients and contractors, liaising with relevant parties regarding project development.
  • Manage the project site in line with regulatory obligations and ensure general contractor roles and responsibilities are complied with.
  • Champion continuous improvements for the project.
  • Report to management and key stakeholders on project performance, including commercial reporting.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience working on-site in an industrial manufacturing/MEP project environment.
  • Experience managing mechanical and electrical contractors, including supervisory works on site.
  • Understanding of thermal systems, mechanical systems/structures, and electrical systems.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office.
  • Relevant certification for managing construction works in the project location.
  • Understanding of Project EHS requirements and contributing to construction phase planning.
