Job Title: Deputy Manager/Early Years Practitioner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at The Foundation Stage Forum Ltd. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the consistency and quality of service across our nursery settings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Work closely with the Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote high-quality care and education for children.
  • Team Management: Supervise and support a team of practitioners to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care and education.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and education provided, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Child Development: Work with the Manager to develop and implement programs that promote the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of children, staff, and visitors, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure open and transparent communication.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 or higher qualification in childcare.
  • Experience: 1 year management experience in a nursery setting.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team.
