The RoleWe are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Lingerie Designer to join our design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and designing commercial lingerie and swimwear ranges that fit with our brand handwriting and meet our customers' needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Researching and developing commercial lingerie and swimwear ranges that meet our brand's aesthetic and commercial requirements
- Working with our design team to research and collate global trends, colour palettes, and seasonal fabric direction
- Collaborating with our buying and merchandising teams to ensure that our designs are commercially viable and meet our sales targets
- Creating innovative designs that can be made technically up to a J cup size and 22 dress size
- Developing thorough tech packs to ensure that our factories can produce high-quality products that meet our standards
- Working with our technical team to ensure that our designs are technically feasible and meet our quality standards
- Liaising with our factories to ensure that our products are delivered on time and to the required quality standards
- Working closely with our beachwear and nightwear teams to deliver cohesive collections
- Maintaining the design room and ensuring that all design tasks are completed to a high standard
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Lingerie Designer who has a passion for lingerie and swimwear design. You will have a minimum of 1-2 years of commercial design experience within a fuller bust lingerie and/or cup-sized swimwear retailer or supplier.
You will have strong technical contour skills, a commercial eye for print, pattern, and colour, and a keen attention to detail. You will be a self-motivated, passionate, and innovative designer with a strong commercial awareness and an understanding of current and emerging trends within intimates and womenswear.
You will be a confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills, able to communicate clearly, effectively, and appropriately with colleagues, suppliers, and others at all levels.
