Investment Funds Lawyer Opportunity

Buchanan Law is seeking a talented Investment Funds Lawyer to join our team in London. As a leading global law firm, we offer unparalleled opportunities to work on complex and high-profile transactions.

The Role:

You will advise a diverse clientele on a wide range of investment funds matters, including:

  • Fund Formation and Structuring: You will work closely with clients to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve their investment objectives while managing legal and regulatory risks.
  • Investor Relations and Fundraising: You will advise clients on investor relations and fundraising strategies, including private equity and venture capital transactions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including AIFMD, UCITS, and FCA regulation.
  • Fund Restructurings and Liquidations: You will advise clients on fund restructurings and liquidations, including private equity and venture capital transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Law Degree: You will have a law degree with an excellent academic record.
  • Admission to the English Bar: You will be admitted to the English Bar.
  • Experience in Investment Funds Law: You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in investment funds law.
  • Knowledge of UK and EU Investment Fund Regulation: You will have strong knowledge of UK and EU investment fund regulation.
  • Excellent Drafting and Communication Skills: You will have excellent drafting and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: You will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
