About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Baxter's Northampton National Distribution Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of medication dispensing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify the accuracy of medication prescriptions and orders, ensuring compliance with quality standards and guidelines.
  • Supervise pharmacy checkers, warehouse pickers, and loaders to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide expert advice on medication and processes to patients, prescribers, and Baxter employees.
  • Investigate and manage complaints related to medication dispensing.
  • Ensure compliance with FMD requirements at all stages of the medication supply chain.
Requirements
  • Masters' Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm)
  • Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Proven experience in supervising staff
  • Expert knowledge of good dispensing and distribution practice
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal, numeric, and written communication skills
