HGV Class C+E Bulk Tanker Driver Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class C+E Bulk Tanker Driver to join our team at Pertemps Sheffield Careers. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating an HGV Class C+E Bulk Tanker to deliver powder materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safe Operation: Safely operate an HGV Class C+E Bulk Tanker to deliver powder materials to different locations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all relevant driving regulations and traffic laws to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Delivery Schedules: Follow delivery schedules and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and complete any required paperwork.
  • Working Hours: Must be able to start between 04:00-06:00am Monday to Friday and work up to 12 hours.
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV License: Hold a valid HGV Class C+E license with a minimum of 2 years' experience and no more than 6 points, with no major endorsements such as DR10, IN10, TT99, etc.
  • Experience: Proven experience in driving HGV Class C+E Bulk Tankers.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Excellent understanding of relevant driving regulations and traffic laws.
  • Safety Commitment: Strong commitment to safety and the ability to adhere to strict safety protocols.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills and the ability to interact with colleagues and customers effectively.
