About the Role

The MongoDB Sales Operations team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Strategy & Planning Analyst to join our Strategy and Planning team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue through data-driven insights and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of MongoDB's sales business, including market trends, customer needs, and sales performance.
  • Partner with Senior Sales leadership to drive market and segment-specific analyses to uncover business opportunities.
  • Design and implement data-driven solutions to optimize sales processes, improve sales productivity, and enhance customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence tools and reports to support sales strategy and planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Strategy, Consulting, Sales Operations, or Analytics.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to break down technical concepts into simple business language.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker) and databases (relational and non-relational).
  • Ability to navigate Salesforce and extract relevant data for analysis.
