Our client, a reputable organization in the Truck & Trailer maintenance sector, is looking to recruit a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Fitter for a day shift role.

As part of a skilled team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performing necessary repairs identified during inspections.
  • Executing general servicing and preparing vehicles for MOT.
  • Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating relevant databases.

The ideal candidate for the Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Fitter position will possess the following qualifications:

  • Full industry qualifications and completion of a recognized apprenticeship.
  • In-depth knowledge of Truck & Trailer maintenance.
  • A commercial driving license is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems, including maintenance and repair.
