Job Title: ACT Tutor - Academic Coach

Job Summary:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced ACT Tutor to join our team. As an ACT Tutor, you will be responsible for providing personalized instruction and guidance to students preparing for the ACT exams. Your expertise in English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science will be crucial in helping students achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and practice materials to enhance students' understanding of ACT content and strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one instruction and feedback to students, tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs and learning styles.
  • Monitor student progress through regular assessments and feedback sessions, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to establish a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student success.
  • Stay up-to-date with ACT exam format, content, and scoring, ensuring that your instruction is relevant and effective.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching, tutoring, or coaching, with a focus on ACT preparation.
  • Excellent knowledge of the ACT exam format, content, and scoring.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a passion for helping students succeed.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
