HSSE Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSSE Service Manager to join our team at Urenco Capenhurst. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing frontline Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) advice to our Directorate and partner with our HSE Shared Service and CNO leadership to ensure appropriate service delivery into the business unit.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the single point of contact for applicable Business Centre to ensure the required HSE services are delivered effectively and within a timely manner
- Facilitate delivery of an effective safety culture within the applicable Directorate
- Ensure maintenance of a certified Management System for the applicable Directorate
- Contact point and lead to ensure an effective Assurance Programme is delivered for the applicable Directorate and drive action plans for improvement
- University degree or equivalent operational experience
- Relevant experience of management of safety in a high hazard industry (chemical/nuclear)
- Relevant experience of complex Incident / accident investigations
- Relevant Health and Safety Qualification such as NEBOSH Diploma (or equal)
- Experience of working with operational leadership teams
- Broad knowledge on the range of HSSE subjects, able to provide detailed guidance in at least one subject matter area
- Experience in Asbestos
- Construction and deconstruction experience
