About the Role:

Senses Australia is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in a community-based role. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with clients in their homes, schools, and other community settings, delivering interventions that cater to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with infants, children, and adults with various disability diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorders and clients with vision and hearing impairments.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote independence and self-advocacy.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $95,000 - $107,800, plus 11.5% annual leave loading.
  • 11.5% annual leave loading (valued at $875 - $1,078 per week).
  • 2 wellness days (valued at $500 - $730 per annum).
  • 5 professional development days (valued at $1,250 - $500 per annum).
  • Option to purchase leave to achieve better work-life balance.
  • Flexible work conditions, including working from home or from any Senses Australia hub.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and approved by Speech Pathology Australia as a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist.
  • A current driver's license, Working With Children (WWC) Check, NDIS Workers screen, and First Aid certification.
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development.
