The position is ideal for recent graduates in Accounting or Finance who are eager to embark on a career in Taxation. Position Overview

The Junior Tax Consultant role is designed as a training opportunity, providing exposure to various aspects of the tax department. The successful candidate will engage in on-the-job training while pursuing their studies. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the execution of the Group's tax strategy
  • Aiding in the oversight and management of the effective tax rate in the UK
  • Supporting the monitoring of UK tax matters
  • Facilitating relationships with auditors and external advisors
  • Offering assistance to Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Business teams regarding significant tax issues
  • Helping to maintain connections with UK tax authorities as necessary

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. While prior internship or placement experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. A strong desire to learn and grow professionally, along with exceptional attention to detail and initiative, is essential.
