Job Title: People Partner

We are proud to be partnering with an award-winning further educational institution based in the West Midlands, who are looking to appoint a People Partner on a 5-month contract to support with a project around the standardisation and harmonisation of contracts.

This will be a full-time position, with hybrid working (4 days home working) and a salary of up to \u00a345k.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a complex public sector organisation and have strong employment law knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bringing all contingency workforce and lecturers onto the same contracts and terms & conditions
  • Explaining and advising managers and senior leaders on aspects of employment law
  • Drafting and issuing new contracts
  • Supporting with some day-to-day HRBP activity as required (ER casework etc)

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of UK employment law
  • Experience working in a complex public sector organisation

Working Hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - Remote
  • Thursday - Onsite
