Real Estate & Rental Coordinator

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to enhance our real estate management division. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude and a proven history in property rental management.
You will oversee a diverse portfolio of residential properties, ensuring exceptional service delivery to both property owners and tenants.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date gas safety certifications and ensure electrical safety inspections are conducted and recorded, while also coordinating Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and addressing property maintenance concerns, verifying that repairs meet required standards.
  • Adhere to industry best practices and established protocols in all operational aspects.
  • Facilitate comprehensive tenant onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Manage rent assessments, lease renewals, overdue payments, and provide guidance on relevant legislation.
  • Support team members with various tasks as needed.
  • Oversee a portfolio of properties.
  • Engage with property owners, tenants, and service providers regarding maintenance and repair needs, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Schedule property evaluations and provide feedback to property owners.
  • Address disputes related to security deposits.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Communicate with tenants and property owners at the conclusion of leases.
  • Coordinate with utility providers and local authorities at the beginning and end of tenancies.
  • Resolve inquiries from property owners and tenants.
  • Conduct end-of-lease inspections, coordinating necessary repairs and liaising with both parties.
  • Prepare property inventories prior to tenant occupancy and ensure readiness for new residents.
  • Advise property owners on maintenance, repairs, and enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with property regulations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison among tenants, property owners, and service providers for maintenance reporting and management.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with various contractors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate deposit settlements with departing tenants and process claims with our deposit management service.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Proficient in IT applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Experience in property rental assessments and expanding rental operations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Motivated to achieve and surpass objectives.
  • Possession of a valid driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
