Job Title: Apprentice Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team at Millbank Holdings Ltd. As a key member of our engineering and maintenance provider, you will be responsible for driving the development of all EPC activities and managing the development and delivery of the EPC activities to meet key targets of time, cost, quality and HSE agreed by the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess tenders, working closely with internal and external stakeholders and be familiar with the requirements of operating under NEC4 forms of contract.
  2. Ensure Safety, Health & Environmental protection are given the highest priority throughout all construction activities.
  3. Establish and lead the project HSE Team to manage HSE activities throughout the construction and commissioning phases of the project.
  4. Act as the Principal Contractor under the CDM Regulations.
  5. Ensure construction hazards are managed throughout the project.
  6. Implement appropriate quality systems for the control of construction information.
  7. Identify and manage all key construction risks to minimise their impact on the project.
  8. Manage and lead the construction team to successfully deliver the project requirements.
  9. Liaise with the key customer plant personnel to ensure the construction plan is consistent with current standards and local requirements.
  10. Provide appropriate construction support for commissioning.
  11. Define the construction estimate and manage expenditure within the agreed budget.
  12. Ensure construction meets appropriate quality standards supported by agreed test requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Extensive experience required of being involved in EPC contracts (Civil & Construction).
  2. Managing budgets / Financial controls.
  3. Subcontractor management.
  4. Accredited CSCS.
  5. NEC4 Accredited Project Manager (desirable).
