The RoleAs a Volkswagen Group Dedicated Mechanic, you will play a vital role in keeping all brands including VW Passenger, Commercial, Seat, Skoda, Audi, and more on the road. You'll have the opportunity to work on a range of vehicles daily, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service by effectively communicating with customers about their vehicle repairs and maintenance needs.
- Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical issues across different Volkswagen Group brands.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- Competitive Salary: £46,000 OTE (£36,140 Basic Salary) with the potential to earn more based on performance.
- Flexible Work Schedule: Start and finish your workday from your driveway. Choose your standby hours preferences each year to suit your lifestyle.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Company van, uniform, boots, Volkswagen-specific equipment, free breakdown cover from day one, 23 days holiday (increasing with service), up to 7% company pension contribution, and industry-leading training opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience.
- Knowledge of working on one or more Volkswagen Group brands or vehicles.
- A full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
- The ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
