Job Overview

Position: Information Security Consultant

Location: Reading, UK (On-site 3 days a week)

Salary: £80,000 (negotiable for the right candidate)

Security Clearance Requirement: Must hold SC clearance

We are in search of a seasoned Information Security Consultant with a robust background in assurance. The ideal candidate will possess SC (Security Clearance) and, ideally, DV (Developed Vetting) clearance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Assurance: Oversee security assurance initiatives to guarantee adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Risk Assessment: Execute comprehensive risk assessments to pinpoint and alleviate potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure that all information security policies and procedures are current and effectively enforced.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to offer expert security guidance and updates on project developments.

Requirements:

  • Security Clearance: Must possess SC clearance; DV clearance is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in information security and assurance.
