Detention Custody Officer

At Mitie, we're committed to delivering exceptional service to those in our care. As a Detention Custody Officer, you'll play a vital role in maintaining high standards of security and safety while promoting the welfare and decency of residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Escort and safely transport immigration residents across the UK and may also include working at local Airports.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
  • Develop your skills to professionally deliver this rewarding, sometimes challenging role with integrity and respect.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £26,54 based on 42 Hours per week.
  • Full flexibility is required as this is a 24-hour service, days a year. Your rolling shift pattern will cover both days and nights.

Requirements:
  • You must hold a British Passport, EU Passport with Share Code, or have an ILR from a Commonwealth country.
  • You must have lived and worked in the UK for the past three years with no extended trips overseas.
  • You must have no criminal convictions or be declared bankrupt in order to pass CTC clearance.
