About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our Corporate team in Crawley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing audits for Manager or Partner review.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and mitigate risks, working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure high-quality audit outcomes.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, reporting directly to a Director or Partner, and take ownership of audit assignments from planning to completion.
- Supervise and develop trainees and executives, providing regular feedback and coaching to support their growth and development.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to colleagues on audit methodologies and financial reporting requirements.
- Manage budgets, negotiate fees, and ensure timely cash collection.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant with audit experience gained in a mid-tier firm. You should have a working knowledge of UK and international GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
