Cloud Account Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Account Manager to join our rapidly growing sales team at Cloud People, a leading UK-based Microsoft partner and Azure Expert Managed Service Provider (MSP).

The ideal candidate will have experience selling Cloud-based services, preferably Microsoft Azure, and a proven track record of developing strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, connecting with key business stakeholders and preparing sales reports.
  • Address client queries, identify new business opportunities, and liaise with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer experience.
  • Generate leads and close new business opportunities within existing clients.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and pipeline.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Communicate progress of initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or relevant role.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Salary: Up to £55k with double OTE

Location: Hybrid in London
