Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team at Reed. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, budgets, and financial statements, as well as playing a key role in the company's financial decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports to provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
  • Analyse financial performance and contribute to medium and long-term business planning and forecasting to drive business growth and success.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial information systems and suggest improvements to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Implement corporate governance procedures, risk management, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with budget preparation and budget reviews, providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
  • Work with audit and compliance teams to ensure all financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
  • Liaise with managerial staff and other colleagues to provide support and guidance on financial matters.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel, with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle complex data.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
