About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Operations Specialist to join our team at Jameson Legal. As an Infrastructure Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our internal systems and infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities
  • Incident Management: You will be responsible for proactively monitoring our internal systems using our monitoring tools, ensuring all system monitoring alerts are processed in a timely manner, and that incidents and changes are dealt with appropriately.
  • Customer Service: You will ensure that all customer problems are resolved to a satisfactory conclusion, providing a professional service at all times.
  • Knowledge Management: You will ensure that our team's knowledge base is kept up to date, documenting incidents and changes to ensure that our team has access to accurate and relevant information.
  • SLA Management: You will ensure that all Incident OLA and SLAs are met, working closely with our infrastructure team to ensure that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Major Incident Management: You will be responsible for managing major incidents, working closely with our infrastructure team to ensure that our systems are restored to normal operation as quickly as possible.
  • Technical Support: You will provide technical support to our infrastructure team, acting as a resource to help resolve technical issues and improve our systems.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: You will have experience and an understanding of Windows Server 2012 onwards, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 onwards, Microsoft Office, and Network Technologies (WAN/LAN) and Remote Access.
  • ITSM Experience: You will have experience of incident management on an ITSM system.
  • System Monitoring Tools: You will have knowledge of system monitoring tools, including Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, Solarwinds, and Squared Up.
  • Logical Approach: You will have a logical approach to troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving problems.
  • Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening) including an excellent telephone manner and strong customer service skills.
