The Role: General Practitioner - Offender Health
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner to join our dynamic Offender Health team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals within correctional facilities across Lincolnshire.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive clinical consultations, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with both acute care needs and long-term conditions.
- Arrange necessary investigations and referrals in accordance with established national guidelines and best practices.
- Maintain ongoing medication prescriptions, ensuring adherence to Safe Prescribing Guidelines.
- Effectively manage and respond to pathology results and clinical correspondence.
- Provide timely responses to clinical queries from primary care teams.
- Deliver patient care that aligns with Nottinghamshire Healthcare's clinical guidelines and protocols.

Your Qualifications:
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
- MRCGP OR MRCGP equivalent approved by the Royal College of General Practice
- Full registration with the GMC with a valid license to practice at the time of appointment
- Eligibility for inclusion on the GMC General Practitioner Register
