Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Quorn Hall School. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

About the Role:

  • Support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in a specialist therapeutic school setting
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group work to promote social, life and independence skills
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic achievement

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience working with children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs or Autism Spectrum Conditions
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with students and staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
