Activities Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Activities Coordinator to join our team at Greensleeves Care Home, Whitegates in Hastings.

About the Role

As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a varied and engaging programme of activities for our residents. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure that the activities meet the needs and interests of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver a programme of activities that meets the needs and interests of our residents
  • Work with the Registered Manager to ensure that activities are aligned with the care home's goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external providers and community groups to access resources and activities
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Previous experience in activities coordination or a related field
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Experience of working with older adults and individuals with dementia
