Production Operator III-1 Job Summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a highly skilled Production Operator III-1 to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating equipment and processes to ensure high-quality products are produced in compliance with legal and company regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare raw materials and packaging according to process instructions and procedures.
  • Operate equipment, verify and load raw materials, take samples, unload and pack, and document process figures and results.
  • Perform quality control of products, making necessary adjustments according to existing procedures and reporting to the Production Manager/Supervisor.
  • Ensure production is against work instructions issued for the produced item to guarantee proper operating conditions.
  • Maintain high-quality expectations regarding all operations and packaging of the final product and encourage peers to do likewise.
  • Implement and comply with all legal and company EHS policy and procedures, reporting any deviation from safety instructions to ensure a secure working environment.
Requirements:
  • Basic educational degree or High school diploma or general education diploma.
  • 3+ years' experience as Production Operator II or 5+ year experience in industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of common software programs (MS office).
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, production process, safety regulations, and quality procedures and instructions.
  • Availability to work in shifts.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Knowledge of chemical mixing and packaging processes.
  • Understanding of basic English.
Physical Environment:
  • Required to stand for long periods of time.
  • Walk and climb stairs.
  • Use hands to remove or lift boxes.
  • Stretch and reach with arms extended.
  • Stoop and bend.
  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Temperature, dust, smell, and noise are under normal chemical environment conditions.
