Head of Learning Support Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Learning Support to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to support students with special educational needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support students with SEN
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide guidance and support to students with SEN to help them access the curriculum
  • Work closely with external professionals to ensure students receive the best possible support
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support strategies and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with:

QTS and OCR Level 7 or equivalentExperience of working with children on the SEN registerAbility to motivate and support students with SENExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team
