Empowering Learning: Head of Learning Support

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Learning Support to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with SEN
  • Lead and motivate a team of learning support staff
  • Liaise with external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop inclusive lesson plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support strategies

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with:

QTS and OCR Level 7 or equivalentExperience working with children on the SEN registerAbility to develop and implement effective support strategiesStrong communication and leadership skills
