As a Senior Safety Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team that assesses the safety of products during Innovation and New Product Development (NPD) and throughout their lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Leading safety activities during Innovation and NPD, for the final safety assessment and for ensuring that products on the markets are safe throughout their lifecycle.
* Building scientific expertise in safety fields and technologies.
* Driving competitive advantage through the application of safety expertise in our products.
* Training the technical and commercial teams on basic safety knowledge to ensure awareness of the importance of safety for customer protection.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Qualifications and experience that meet the regulatory requirements for a Safety Assessor.
* Higher qualification in one of the following disciplines: Pharmacy, Toxicology, Medicine, Dermatology.
* At least 5 years' experience of safety assessment in FMCG, the chemistry industry, with cosmetics experience being an advantage.
