We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Glenwood area services, ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance, and driving the development of innovative and cost-effective support.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of person-centred support, enhancing the lives of individuals we support.
- Develop and implement Business and Workforce Development Plans, ensuring regulatory and organisational compliance.
- Ensure every service user has an up-to-date person-centred plan and risk assessments, regularly reviewed through a person-centred review process.
- Deploy staff and resources effectively to achieve service user outcomes.
- Promote good professional relationships between stakeholders, working positively together in the service user's interest.
Performance and Risk Management:
- Ensure performance across managerial responsibilities, exceeding organisational, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Develop and implement a robust performance monitoring and management system.
- Ensure Risk Management Plans and Business Continuity Plans are in place for all services.
- Provide accurate performance information to senior leadership and the leadership team.
Development - Organisational and Professional:
- Work with the Head of Operations and Business Proposition Team to develop relationships with commissioners and seek business growth opportunities.
- Participate in the implementation and monitoring of Real Life Options' Organisational Strategy.
- Develop personal and professional knowledge and skills to enhance post holder abilities.
- Foster effective working relationships with partner organisations to benchmark best practice and work on joint projects.
Requirements:
- S/NVQ Level 3 (in both management and care) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience within a relevant care setting.
- Significant operational management experience in health, social services, or independent sector.
- Track record of working within services for people with learning disabilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Leadership qualities.
- IT literate.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
