About the Role

MacStaff is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Contracts Manager to join our team in the Midlands region. As a key member of our projects team, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of projects with a value of up to £5M, focusing on the mechanical aspects of projects including HVAC, Plumbing, and Pipework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Work closely with clients, sub-contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with the projects team to develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in the design and construction of M&E/HVAC projects.
  • HND/HNC/Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
