Theatre Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Manager to oversee the daily operations of our theatre in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our theatre, including managing performances, marketing, ticket sales, and working within budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:- Theatre Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the theatre, ensuring that all aspects of theatre productions are managed efficiently.
- Production Management: Manage all aspects of theatre productions, including scheduling and coordination, to ensure that shows are delivered to the highest standard.
- Staff Management: Ensure that the theatre is adequately staffed with the correct training, and supervise staff members to ensure that they are equipped to provide an excellent experience for both performers and guests.
- Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote theatre productions and increase audience attendance, working closely with our marketing department.
- Financial Management: Manage the theatre's finances, including budgeting, financial management, and ticket sales, to ensure that the theatre operates within budget constraints.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar management role within a theatre or performing arts environment.
- Skills: Proven track record in managing theatre productions from conception to execution, strong leadership and people management skills, proficiency in marketing, including digital and social media marketing, and knowledge of theatre production and technical operations.
- Competitive Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum.
- Shift Flexibility: The Theatre Manager is expected to work during the majority of productions, which may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
