Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment. As a key member of our technical support division, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigeration equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and commissioning of refrigeration equipment, as well as reactive breakdown fault-find and repair of equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge and technical understanding of refrigeration equipment and conduct the necessary safety checks to ensure each item of equipment is safe and fit for purpose.
- Identify and resolve technical issues with items of equipment, diagnose and order parts to achieve a first-time fix, and complete associated documentation for maintenance and service traceability.
- Complete full inspections and reports to provide for the business and client as required, and ensure commissioning works are completed to relevant standards and safety regulations.
- Assist and support the Technical Support and Projects Departments as required on equipment maintenance, repair, and installations.
Requirements:
- F-Gas qualifications and at least 3 years' previous experience gained within a refrigeration catering equipment environment.
- Proven electrical skills and experience, with additional experience of testing and repairing Electrical Catering Equipment, basic Plumbing, commercial Warewashing, and Gas experience proving advantageous.
