Role Summary
The Managing Director will oversee all aspects of development, from fully funded initiatives to intricate details. As a key leadership position with a clear path to CEO, the Managing Director champions eco-friendly, commercially viable, and energy-efficient developments delivered with exceptional efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of development projects, ensuring high-quality, sustainable, and timely delivery.
- Oversee the design, planning, legal, and contractual aspects of development projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered in less than half the time of traditional build projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience in public sector procurement, property development, and commercial building planning.
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in financial funding, including innovative funding models.
- Significant expertise in property law and legals.
- Expertise in the day-to-day running of a development company, up-to-date with HR matters and legal requirements for staff members.
- Experience with initial client engagement through to delivery of the project, running and coordinating client meetings, understanding client requirements.
- Construction – Proven track record in the delivery of complex projects, historical knowledge of construction costs, experience and understanding of different forms of construction, project management/co-ordination experience.
- Exceptional ability to manage complex real estate projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
